Issue Position

I will champion a balanced budget to stop mortgaging the future of our society. In Wyoming, we know it's not always easy to have the discipline to live within our means, but we do it anyway. Since the US government doesn't have this resolve, we need a balanced budget amendment to US Constitution. Additionally, just like we do here in Wyoming, the federal government should budget on a two-year cycle so Congress isn't rushing to pass budgets for trillions of dollars in a matter of days.
